COVID-19 Updates and Information

Governor Roy Cooper has issued Executive Orders 169 and 170 to protect the Health and Safety of the citizens of North Carolina amidst the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis. For more information regarding COVID-19, please visit the nc211.org website.
As a result, the SKARURE WOCCON OF THE CAPE FEAR has instituted the following orders in compliance with restrictions set forth by the state of North Carolina.
WHEREAS, as a result of the extension of Phase 3 declared by Governor Roy Cooper of the State of North Carolina, as it relates to the COVID-19 pandemic; and
WHEREAS, the SKARURE WOCCON OF THE CAPE FEAR is committed to the overall well-being and safety of all Tribal Members and local community at large; and
WHEREAS, an extension of Phase 3 is imposed to facilitate optimal health and secure property. Tribal meetings will continue on a virtual basis, and members will be notified of any in-person meetings and activities. ALL MEMBERS MAY VISIT THE MEMBERS ONLY PAGE FOR FURTHER DETAILS. Tribal Meetings and Select Activities, considered to be "in-person" activities will take place with some restrictions, as set forth and in adherence with the restrictions that are still in affect for PHASE 3, set in place by Governor Roy Cooper.
Restriction Operations: Offices are still operating during normal business hours. However, meetings and/or conferences are being taken virtually and at the discretion of the supporting staff.
These changes shall remain in effect until the State of Emergency restrictions have been rescinded by the State of North Carolina.
